Dana DeLance is a Financial Advisor at Kovitz, providing customized wealth management solutions. She works closely with clients to develop their financial plan, including tax planning strategies and insurance reviews, to help clients meet their long-term needs and goals.
Prior to joining Kovitz, Dana served as a Wealth Advisor at a large RIA firm, where she worked alongside advisors to provide wealth management services to corporate executives and high-net-worth individuals. Dana holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural consumer economics with a concentration in financial planning from the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign, as well as her CFP® certification. Dana's dedication to the financial planning profession extends beyond the work she does with clients. In 2017 and 2018, she served as organizational director for the Financial Planning Association (FPA) National NexGen Leadership Board, and she has also served as director of NexGen for the FPA of Illinois.
For fun, Dana enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. She has been to 22 countries and tries to visit at least one new country every year. Most recently she went to Iceland, Thailand and Vietnam.
