Deborah A. Hopkins, CFP®

Debbie counsels her clients on the financial and investment decisions that impact their lives and the lives of their family members. She works with clients to integrate investment and financial planning strategies into their financial picture. Prior to joining Kovitz in 2011, Debbie was the Chief Operating Officer for a small wealth management firm in Chicago, Illinois. She also was a Vice President in private banking at The Northern Trust where she managed the investment and credit relationships for senior executives from Fortune 100 companies. Debbie is a member of the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago and a board member for the Exclusive Professional Women’s Networking Group. Debbie earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1986. She earned her MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in 1991. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Debbie lives with her husband, Rob, in Hinsdale, IL and has three adult children.
