Eric A. Hartman, CAIA®

Eric serves as a Client Service Associate, working  alongside financial advisors, to provide superior client service and administrative support. Prior to joining Kovitz in 2022, Eric was a Client Service Associate at Zimmerman Wealth Management, where he guided clients through the account opening and asset transfer process, executed client’s money movement, and performed account maintenance needs. Before that, he served in a Portfolio Reporting Analyst role at Curian Capital, LLC, a subsidiary of Jackson National Life Insurance, constructing portfolios and optimization models as well as portfolio risk and performance attribution reporting. Eric got his start in the financial services industry at PerTrac Financial Solutions where he worked collaboratively with alternative managers and investors implementing, training, and supporting a suite of fintech solutions and establishing processes for risk management, performance research, reporting, and managing their client relations.

Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and his MBA in Finance from the University of Nevada-Reno and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) designation. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the Chicagoland culinary scene, home improvement projects, and cooking at home with his wife, Kathryn, and two cats, Gizmo and Pichét.
