Will Zheng is the Vice President of Strategy at Kovitz, focusing on devising strategies that empower scalable growth through client insights, market research, data, and operational excellence. In addition, Will supports Chicago Capital Partners, a private equity holding company established by Kovitz, through private equity deal due diligence.
Prior to joining Kovitz in 2021, Will co-founded Serionix in 2011 and served as COO. He also worked in the venture capital arm of Zebra Technologies. Will received his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Outside work, Will served as a referee for 16+ scientific peer-reviewed journals. He enjoys running half-marathons, triathlons, playing basketball and reading. Will lives on the North Shore of Chicago with his wife and two children.
